Ski Jumping
One of the most
popular winter sports, Ski Jumping, is a game where the participants have to
mark the longest jump after jumping from the specially designed ramp. The cost
of equipment is one of the main factors that make it one of the most expensive
sports in the world.
Ski jumping at a
professional level is a quite costly sport. Every year, expenses include skiing
equipment, a coach, and a ski jumping slope. Ski Jumping equipment can cost
around $3000. However, when compared to other sports, Ski Jumping requires less
expensive uniforms and equipment. In addition to uniforms and equipment, a ski
jumper has to spend anywhere between $150,000 to 250,000 yearly including
sponsorship and travelling to events.
